Thank you for that information on crediting the brain image photos – I have used those in my email signature several times.

Excellent service. My only exception is the mention of “dirty electricity”, which is a sales slogan with no backing from any legitimate health studies. Every client I have had who bought the filters has had to remove them due to worse effects.

Respectfully, we are all different, and one thing I have learned as a physician with EHS, is that everyone has different symptoms, triggers, levels of responses, ability to recover and sensitivities. Please don’t think your experience is the only one.
The dirty electricity filters are one of the cornerstones to me recovering to the degree I have from my EHS. They literally saved my life. Just because they don’t work for some, even many, they still need to be mentioned, because I probably would have died if I didn’t figure out that the dirty electricity was totally preventing me from getting ANY sleep for months.
I urge everyone to try as many ways to protect themselves as they can. Only you can judge for yourself what is helpful.
Good luck to all and may we all see a wired world sooner than we think!
Jan
With all due respect to Karl, there may be some filters that clearly are scams and don’t work well but I am one who also experienced significant health problems from dirty electricity after I moved to a newer home 7 years ago (built in 1999) that had newer wiring. After I researched and purchased the filters I did, I noticed an ‘immediate’ difference upon plugging them in. It was a strange experience and all I could say was that I felt ‘lighter.’ But time was the ultimate test that determined whether it was psychosomatic or real. I slept better than ever and my body began to heal with heart irregularities, skin lesions and more. Another big turning point was realizing I slept on the other side of the wall of a refrigerator. After I read about dirty electricity and affiliated issues, I moved my bed and with the filters, that made all the difference. I recently again moved into an older apartment building that has the older type of wiring which does not put out dirty electricity like the newer kind. I have never felt better. Haven’t even plugged in my filters yet but still plan to. Dirty electricity is a real problem one which I sincerely hope will become more understood and dealt with. Thank you.

Stetzerizer filters short the high frequencies from the electric field we absorb from the wiring in our homes. At the least, these frequencies over 2 kHz have been known to cause nerve block in the peripheral nervous system. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUORfBDiF5U
The Stetzerizer filter will certainly magnify an error in the home’s wiring. My process is to eliminate the error first and then short those frequencies, known to cause health problems, from the circuit. Placement is key and if you don’t know what you are doing, then yes I can see how you could get negative results.
If we want success, we cannot ignore today’s dirty electricity.

Great information. I have implemented many of these suggestions since the Smart Meters were rolled out in May 2013, when I began experiencing an aggravation of my heart arrhythmia. Even though I did not have a Smart Meter, I was affected by my adjacent neighbor’s Smart Meters (I am the middle condo in a tri-plex). An electrical engineer who spoke at one of the Public Utility Commission meetings I attended said that it was because the wiring amplifies the Smart Meter RF emissions (and shared wiring exists in multi-unit walls). I also now wear RF blocking clothing, which is essential when I travel. I have not heard of turning the circuit breakers off at night, I will try that. I have also read that ceramic tile and concrete will block RF transmission (which explains why I am less affected by RF in bathrooms). EMF was never much of a problem for me before the Smart Meters were installed. The interactions of these technologies needs to be independently assessed. Thanks for your efforts in getting the message out.
Jeromy
Hi Susan,
Smart meters definitely seem to be an initiating cause of EMF sensitivity for many people. This peer-reviewed study confirms this:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25478801
I also think it is the brief, intense nature of the pulses and how they interact with the wiring of a home/building that is causing the health problems.
More and more people are starting to feel the effects and are starting to connect the dots. The truth will eventually come out.

Since nowhere seems to allow opt outs and I have to move, I have opted in on paying a large credit card bill each month for a low emf solar. I have a disabled cell for emergencies. I do not think they will ever go back to wiring anything, just the opposite. I am in the southwest and they are taking landline and cable services out. I have been in the process of designing a “wireless to wired” internet and phone, as I require both net and phone due to health issues. The ES community has about sent a lynch mob after me over this. Really? I would much rather live far out off grid, w/ 2 items that act like cell phones, situated 100 feet from my house, that will be OFF at night and I can turn off at whim, than be completely assaulted from just feet away, as I am now living in a dense area. Those dense areas are not going to have service long either. One of the cable companies is getting ready to pull service to many areas, all those people are going to have to option than to go wireless for phone, net and TV if the use it.
I am going to set it up so not only are the phone plugs off at night, but everything but the fridge.

I cannot express enough appreciation for Jeromy and his wife for the work they continue to put towards educating us all and providing solutions for those of us who have suddenly found ourselves so ill in a modern world.
I know it must be no easy task for them as they are both in fields where I assume they must be often ridiculed and pointed out as a bit crazy. I suffer from such ridicule and often feel I cannot make mention of my issues and needs professionally due to humiliation. Furthermore, I opted to home educate with tutors and the like rather than expose my son to a school full of wi-fi, smart meters and cell phones! I see so many of his friends suffering from depression, addictions, erratic behavior patterns, and I cannot help but wonder how much of it is due to their frequent cellphone use and 24-hour exposure to heavy EMF environments.
I know their families and cannot attribute the extent of their issues to any difficult home environment. Still, it was a great sacrifice of career to do what I am doing, and few parents are willing to do that (nor do they really feel they can).
Hats off to you both for standing up, standing strong and using the energy that you do have (which if you are a sufferer is one of the biggest challenges–keeping the energy up) towards providing a very smooth website with very sound and simple advice.
Know you are supported by many. Know that I am VERY grateful.
Jeromy
Thank you Sofia. I really appreciate this.

I am so grateful for this info. Appreciate all of your work to helping people like me figure out how to live in this world.
Cathy
Thank you for the sensible approach and practical information. It is especially welcome coming from a “tech” professional and a physician. My family was also affected by the smart meter; since having the radio transmissions turned off through the “opt-out” program in my state, my house became livable again but by no means the haven it once was.
I am ridiculed by the utility and we are at a stalemate. A brash appearance at my Congressman’s coffee hour, followed by numerous phone calls to his office, has forced the utility to conduct an investigation (one of many). Their measurement techniques are inadequate and I do not expect a solution to come from this investigation. Only greater public awareness will bring about change. Thank you for your efforts!
Jeromy
Hi Cathy,
Great work with your utility. I know it’s not easy – especially in areas where there are fewer people who understand this issue.
Once people are sensitized to the smart meters, they often start to feel other fields like electric and magnetic fields in their homes that were not an issue before. Our homes, which were once sanctuaries, become difficult for us to live in. Hopefully you can find ways to reduce the other fields in your home as well.
Pay attention to what is coming soon from Take Back Your Power. There will be some solutions that will help you with your utility. https://takebackyourpower.net/

Thank you for the video. I am grateful for a no nonsense approach to this issue. It has been hard to find credible information about EMF and RF pollution without following someone down a rabbit hole of conspiracy theories.
I was feeling some odd effects in my home office over the past few weeks and was really having a hard time understanding what was happening. Confusion, no concentration, almost a heavy feeling. So I downloaded a meter app (I know there will be a million screams that these are useless, however, if it leads me to become a believer in this issue and I end up purchasing a true meter then it was not a complete waste right?). Well what I found was a light fixture and score board to a shuffleboard table game was emitting very high EMF. It was just moved into my office about the time I had the symptoms start and once I unplugged it and removed it from the room, I felt a weight lift. I feel back to my normal self.
I have a question about the readings I was getting. I am a serious person, please do not tell me theories about brain control or other out there stuff. This fixture is still putting out amplified EMF and it has been unplugged for a while. Is it possible that something can act like an antenna or amplifier based on its shape or composition? I put a video on youtube if you want to see what I mean. (This is not a scam, don’t click on the video link if you are concerned about that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SO0XEgH04TQ )
Jeromy
Hi Dane,
First, it’s great you figured this out quickly, made some changes and are feeling better. Most people don’t believe EMFs can affect them, so they never make some easy changes.
Long story short: Most wires and metal casing acts as an antenna. They will then conduct frequencies that are in the home and in the air and re-radiate them into the living environment. This is the basic principle of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) that has been the basis for electrical equipment design for decades. This is real engineering and you can read about it in this book:
http://www.emiguru.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=58&Itemid=86
The issue is that not only does EMI affect the operation and longevity of digital electrical equipment, it can also affect human biology. You found this out the hard way through a cheaply designed lamp that is radiating very high amounts of EMI.
Another very inexpensive EMF meter is a basic AM radio. For $10, you will have a very accurate EMF finder that will show you if any equipment is giving off more EMI than it should.
Here is one – you can go on Amazon and ebay too:

This is invaluable information. Thank you! And, here’s hoping that a major change AWAY from WiFi will happen sooner than later!
Another issue that’s effecting me are the “Energy Star” smart appliances, which these days means that they have WiFi transmitters that communicate 24/7 with whatever ‘smart’ meter equipment is in an area. That way utility companies know when an appliance is being used or not, and can also remotely turn them off frequently for a few moments or minutes, thus ‘saving energy’. Also, Consumer Reports had a recent article warning about these transmitters in any appliance that has microphones, saying people can listen in, so that privacy is not safe.
The transmitters are strong enough that I felt it when my neighbor got an Energy Star deep freeze. We’ve paid for them to opt-out of having a ‘smart’ meter. Now we’re paying for a new freezer for them. Until then, my sleep is shallow, interrupted, and not refreshing.
Sharing information is vital. Thanks again for this. Good luck, everyone.
Jeromy
Hi Helen,
You are correct about the new appliances and electronics having strong RF transmitters embedded within them. A few times now, I have had the experience of getting a headache/nausea only to find out I was near a pulsing “smart” TV that I did not realize was transmitting.
With many appliances and electronics, you can actually disable the antennas. Here are two short videos that will show you how to do this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KJTyivxfJc
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZBo38uNono
Of course, you should be careful when dealing with electronics and these actions may void the appliance warranty. However, no one should be subjected to continuous exposure to pulsed microwaves in their own home if they choose not to be.
You can test any appliance with this basic RF meter:

Thank you Jeromy for that excellent YouTube video on reducing EMF…I just shared this on FB with my friends and colleagues. I have severe EHS caused directly by working under strong industry WiFi routers in the workplace – signals that would make your head spin! (We have requested safety switches for years now).
I wish I had known about your site and the router screen earlier – it would have saved my health and career, and others as well…and the children who now suffer from health effects. I have tried to warn other teachers, and experienced ridicule, endured the snickers, and even been disciplined by the employer who are all heavily invested in the myth that WiFi is safe.
Many teachers have been forced to retire early on reduced pension (although we still have lots of energy and love our job), and many, like me, have had to leave friends and family to relocate to rural areas to escape massive exposure in denser city regions. I keep thinking, this is just the tip of the iceberg!!! Why won’t parents, school boards, unions, and city council listen to warnings about WiFi, smart grids, and RF exposure in our neighborhoods, parks, workplace, and schools? I guess it comes down to money: funding and investments. Thank you for becoming a credible and incredible resource on EMF, and for your professionalism and expert website.

I had been using Electro Magnetic Radiation Meter DT 1180 by GMM Teshnoworld Pte Ltd Hong Kong for all EMF detection and exposure. Surprisingly a cell phone/laptop EMF guard from vedic research India is doing the great job.

I have been looking for something for my wireless router and smart meter thanks so much I have been suffering from this since 2009. I have purchased the Home Infinity protection, I will be ordering!!ASAP is good to know that its help out there am so tried of going to these Dr and they never heard of this and asking me am I just trying to get a check!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I drink the tart juice but I need to get me some cocoa nut oil am taking most of the vitamins that you mention already. Sometimes I want to threw in the towel! am so happy that I seen this video, I did have mold in my home in the sheet rock. I have severe muscle spasm. Avoidance cell phones help me a lot. speaker house phone affect at times I have to back off for awhile. If I could only get around these electrical lines I would feel lots better its s hard at times to avoid and that’s my worst pain. I don’t walk on the right side of my yard or go to the mail box family have to go because of the power lines. I get so tried of telling people about this and depending on them for certain things. I use to be sensitive to much more was at a point that I couldn’t watch TV or go in the grocery store or walk threw electronic doors. I have being praying like crazy and putting it in the hand of the lord, It use to be that at church if someone would be sitting behind me on their phone I could feel it in my head. I can go on and on but I have to go study for a test!! I am so happy that there is help and am so glad that I started back searching for help!!

Wondering if anyone knows of an explanation why two different gauss meters would give widely different milligauss readings in the same spot. That is a Bell 4180 measuring only 0.2/0.3 mG with the Cornet 88DT (combined function meter with ELF, RF and Electric Field functions) on magnetic field setting reading 0.9 or even 1.4 while the Bell still shows only 0.3mG.
I’m trying to work out whether the Cornet is inaccurate on the gauss meter setting or whether it is picking up something that the Bell meter doesn’t detect. The Bell seems to be working correctly.
Jeromy
Hi Helen,
The Bell 4180 is a much higher quality and sensitive Gauss meter than the Cornet. It is a 3-axis meter that measures a wide range of frequencies (20 Hz to 2,000 Hz).
The Cornet is a single axis guass meter, so depending on the plane that you are holding it in, it will give different readings. This could be the reason for the discrepancy in the readings between the two meters.
I would put more trust in the Bell for magnetic field readings. The Cornet meter is really just a starter meter for magnetic fields – to let you know if there is an issue that needs to be looked at. Better meters are needed for the sensitivity that some ES people require.
Jeromy
Helen
Thanks Jeromy.
Was unsure about accuracy when buying it. Odd thing is sometimes it actually reads the same as the Bell, which is why I thought it might be picking up transient frequencies outside the Bell’s range. Seemed odd too for a single axis meter to read so much higher than a 3 axis. (I’ve noticed this meter does also have a tendency ato give a phantom high peak reading if it gets even the slightest knock or if it is tilted sharply when picking it up or placing it).
Cathi
Is there a meter out there yet that will read 5G exposure? If so what?
Is there a shield (paint or other) that really works to mitigate Microwave exposure?
Jeromy
Cathi,
The “Safe and Sound” seen here will measure some of the lower frequency 5G bands. There is not yet a consumer level RF meter that will measure the higher frequencies (13 GHz and up).

I list the various shielding materials here:

Karl you saved my life years ago (1997) about electricity on water pipes.
I have an issue now where I think microwaves are coming to the furnace via a tall metal exhaust pipe that extends 10′ above the roof and I think it is acting like an antenna.
Can you help me? Do you have a phone consult number?
Jan
Jeromy
Hi Jan,
Not sure that Karl is still doing consults. Reach out to me via email with your location and I’ll try to recommend someone good (or possibly Karl).

Hi Jeromy – my daughter (37) has been almost bedridden for the past year because of what she thinks is RMF sensitivity. At some point, a smart meter was installed at our home. We did “opt-out” but what they did was turn off the “smart” part of the meter, but did not give us an analog meter back. My grandkids have had frequent nose-bleeds, and my eldest granddaughter (11) has frequent headaches when near a cell phone. Duke Power had to replace our panel when my granddaughter got shocked by touching the faucet at the kitchen sink. She cannot use the light in her bedroom (it has a dimmer on it) because the light burns out very fast in that room. I have also had some problems with my cell phone causing headaches, dizziness, and foggy thinking.
We live in Greensboro, NC and need someone to really check out our home, and tell us if we can fix it to stay here, or if we need to move. If we stay here, we would need help fixing it to where we can use ethernet instead of wireless. I don’t even know how to do that. Please – can you recommend someone to help us? Thank you!
Jeromy
Hi Sheila – I just responded via email. Thanks for reaching out!
