I almost always recommend the Swiss Shield Naturell or Daylite material for bed canopies, as you can see on this page. The following are some of the reasons why having a metallic bed canopy can cause problems down the road. This is especially the case if you don’t know the source of the shielding material – such as a Chinese factory where every possible corner will be cut and the materials are likely toxic.
